From the perspective of Carl Jung, a pen appearing in a dream represents the concept of individuation, a process of psychological integration. A dream of a pen might represent the individual’s archetypal need to express themselves, write their own life story or perhaps, to symbolize an action of creation or revision. It can be interpreted as the dreamer's need to understand certain life situations or even narrate their own story, to give identity and meaning to inner experiences.
